I found an interesting article on setting up a squeeze page on a Facebook Fanpage published on Matt Garrett’s blog and I have re-published it below for your convenience.

I’ve just finished a new video to show how quick and easy it is to add a “fangate” (aka squeeze page) to your facebook fanpage using a free iframe app, and the app just happens to be free… :-)

Facebook Fanpages are all the rage, and with good reason they’re a great way to find, connect with, and build a relationship with potential new clients, as well as to stay in touch with existing clients.

To make the best use of your fanpage you need to have what’s now being called a “fangate”, which is basically the fanpage equivalent of an email squeeze page.

The idea is that people who are not “fans” get to see one set of content, usually an image that asks them to hit the “like” button in return for some valuable gift or freebie.

Then once they’ve hit the “like” button, the new content with the details on how to get their free gift is revealed.

This means you end up getting far more peopel to actually “like” your fanpage, instead of just checking out your wall, leaving and never remembering to come back…

AND because all their friends will potentially see that they “Like” your fanpage, they may also come and take a look as well, giving it that essential “viral” element.

So if you’re going to have a facebook fanpage, which you REALLY should, then using a “fangate” fanpage squeeze with an iframe app is going to get you LOADS & LOADS more fans!

Watch the video above and learn how to do it all for free yourself…

Google Sniper 2 Review

Google Sniper 2

English: Google Sniper 2.0 Review and Google S...

I recently decided to purchase the Google Sniper 2 Internet Marketing course by George Brown and I have been pleasantly surprised by its innovative content,

George Brown starts by describing his efforts to find a way to actually make some money online. He tried different approaches suggested by various gurus without much success and finally he was able to dind his own way to be successful online.

Currently there are a few methods suggested by gurus to develop a successful online Internet Marketing business as follows:

  • Niche Websites: you are advised to develop many niche websites which individually will make little money (e.g. $ 10 per month). Since there are many of them the total money should be satisfactory.
  • Authority Websites: they should focus on an area where you have some expertise and receive a high amount of traffic

Currently most people use WordPress to develop these websites and you are advised to make frequent blog postings in order to develop the website traffic and increase your visitors.

George Brown suggests a different approach with the development of sniper sites which focus on a single keyword and publish just a few very targeted post (4 or 5)., George suggests to develop sites with a very narrow but razor sharp focus.

Finding good niches full of hungry buyers and keywords to “snipe” are obviously among of the most important parts of the process and George suggests some good criteria to find niches and buyer keywords.

What is different between George Brown approach and some other SEO based solutions is that George focuses mainly on the choice of the keyword and does not give any attentions to other SEO activities such as backlinking,

Once you have decided the niche and keyword to snipe, you should build your Google Sniper website and George Brown provides good instructions on how to build it by using WordPress.

The course provides step by step instructions on how to register a domain, setup wordpress and installing your plugins. However, if you are a seasoned marketer then you wont find nothing new here

The course continues with a low of useful information on:

  • Pre-selling
  • Development of your sniper site (e.g. what it should contain, LSI keywords, seo points to consider)
  • Affiliate Links and how to maximize conversions
  • Getting Ranked and Gaining Authority

The course provides:

  • The Google Sniper 2 manual
  • A Process Map manual
  • A confidential manual from George Brown
  • 7 Module Videos
  • A Bonus Video

Everything is very well presented and full of really useful contents. In my opinion is a worthwhile course that fully justifies to money to spend.
